Trainer Account
Each NAPPI uk in-house trainer has access to a personal Trainer Account. This account gives trainers access to all materials needed to prepare, process and record training. Induction to the Trainer Account is provided free of charge and can include induction into the Organisation Account for management teams.
Trainer Details Section
Within this section, trainers can:
- Update their contact details
- Complete the trainer contract
- Maintain their Continuous Professional Development record
- Contact NAPPI via the contact log
- Download system user guides
Note: Trainers working within organisations governed by the Restraint Reduction (RRN) Training Standards (those inspected by CQC or receive NHS funding and use restrictive practices) can complete their RRN trainer specifications via this account.
Courses
The trainer account maintains a record of all training delivered by the trainer and enables new courses to be registered.
- Trainer’s name
- Course date
- Course title and type
Once registered, trainers can create pre-course information to share with participants and generate workbooks tailored to selected modules. Participant registration forms and the assessment tracking documents can be downloaded at no extra cost.
After training delivery, trainers submit records through the system. Submissions are audited, including any communications between trainer and auditor. Trainers are notified when certificates are ready for printing. Reports, including participant evaluation scores, feedback and comments, plus auditor’s feedback are available. There is no limit to the numbers of downloads.
Trainers can view records of participants they have trained; the Organisation Account holds records for all participants trained within the organisation.
Resources
In Resources, trainers can access helpful materials, such as environmental risk assessments, deferral forms and example outlines.
They can also access their trainer certificates, trainer course IQA reports and individual assessor’s feedback. Risk Assessments for all certificated skills are available here and via the Organisation Account.
Trainer Supplies
NAPPI uk provides new trainers with all the equipment to plan, prepare and deliver training – at no additional cost. However, NAPPI uk recognises that some organisations prefer to purchase hardcopy versions of training materials and these can be ordered within the Trainer Account.
